1. Operator and contact

Spotter is operated by WANG JUNFENG · Individual developer · China. Service, billing and privacy questions: wjf326@gmail.com. Spotter is the product brand, not a separate incorporated company.

These terms cover this website and the Spotter Android app, package com.spottrek.outdoor, to the extent the relevant service is available in your version and region. Spotter is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

2. What Spotter provides

Spotter helps identify landmarks, animals, plants and fishing catches from a photo you choose. It also provides local diaries, trips, route recording, catch records, cards and PDF booklets. The features and sample screens on this site describe the app; sample content is illustrative.

AI results can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify information before acting. Do not rely on an identification for medical advice, safe foraging, legal fishing decisions or navigation. You remain responsible for obtaining permissions and following local rules.

3. Accounts and your local content

Where enabled, a Google-associated Spotter account connects your service identity and verified purchase entitlements across supported devices. It does not upload or restore your local diary, photos or route files. Keep your own local backups before changing devices or clearing app data.

Submit only content you are entitled to use. You retain your rights in your photos and notes. We process selected content to provide the features you request, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Do not share access credentials, evade quotas or interfere with the service.

4. Plans and identification allowances

Free access includes three successful ordinary identifications per account day. Street identification requires an eligible paid allowance. The account day uses the fixed account timezone shown by the service.

Annual Pro is an automatically renewing annual subscription. Each verified paid annual service period includes 1200 identifications, usable throughout that period without a monthly reset. Unused allowance expires when its period ends; the next non-overlapping paid period starts a fresh allowance rather than carrying unused uses forward. Overlapping Annual Pro benefits on the same Spotter account share an allowance: duplicate or overlapping purchases do not multiply the simultaneously available quota.

A 7-day Pro pass is a one-time purchase with 150 identifications during its continuous 168-hour activated term, without a daily reset. Unused allowance expires at the end of that term. Eligible additional passes run in sequence, with activation and expiry shown in the account. The pass does not automatically renew.

A 50-identification pack adds 50 non-expiring identification uses. It does not by itself provide Pro membership. Each successful identification consumes one use from the applicable allowance. Pro takes priority over a pass; eligible ordinary free uses take priority over a permanent pack.

A failed or canceled identification does not consume a use unless the server already confirmed a completed successful operation. If a result is uncertain, the app checks the same operation before releasing a reservation or charging a use. Reopening a cached result does not charge again.

Pro and a valid 7-day pass also enable the described advanced creation features until their term ends, even if their identification allowance is exhausted. Previously saved creations remain readable. Valid older purchases keep their original promised contract until expiry.

5. Prices, payment and delivery

The membership page shows approved launch-price information by currency and purchase channel. Website and Google Play prices can differ. Confirm the offered product, currency, applicable tax, billing interval and final total in the checkout before paying. Website purchasing is available only where checkout is enabled.

When website purchasing opens, Paddle will handle website checkout as the merchant of record. Google Play handles purchases made inside the Android app. Spotter does not collect full payment-card details. Benefits are delivered to the signed-in Spotter account after the server verifies the payment; a success screen alone does not grant benefits.

If payment succeeds but benefits do not appear, check the account and contact support with the order reference. Do not repeatedly pay for the same purchase. Product availability and checkout eligibility may depend on your region and existing entitlements.

6. Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Annual Pro renews at the displayed annual interval until canceled. For a website subscription, use the management link in the Paddle receipt or https://paddle.net

For a Google Play subscription, use the purchasing Google account at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and preserves the already paid period until its expiry. It is not a refund request. Uninstalling the app or deleting local data does not cancel a subscription. Refunds and any statutory withdrawal or immediate-cancellation rights are described in our Refund Policy.

7. Availability, changes and your rights

Online identification and shared entitlements require a working network and service verification. We may maintain or update the service and address misuse. We do not promise uninterrupted access or perfect AI accuracy. This does not remove remedies for a service that is not delivered or materially differs from its description.

We will update these terms and their date when the service changes. Material purchase terms are presented before checkout. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support to resolve a problem; applicable rights to complain or seek legal remedies remain available.
